Several artists throughout the 20th Century were making great changes in the art world, but one that stands out as truly influential and dramatic was Andy Warhol. Warhol began using advertisements and mass culture items in his work which further eroded the borders between the worlds of high art and pop culture. He even challenged the very definition of art.
